Helen Caron
Member of the Board of Trustees
Helen Caron has been a TUI Care Foundation Trustee since 2018.
Helen spent 24 years with TUI Group, where she held a number of senior leadership roles across the organisation. Most recently, she served as Director of Product & Purchasing, with responsibility for global hotel sourcing, covering 20,000 hotels, 70 destinations, 12 million annual passengers and a €9 billion-euro cost base. During her career at TUI, she played a central role in large‑scale commercial and operational transformations, including portfolio development, sourcing strategy and international partnerships.
Her roles included Managing Director of TUI’s cruise division, Distribution Director at TUI UK & Ireland, Director of TUI Ireland, as well as senior commercial positions across UK distribution and trading. She was also closely involved in major transformation programmes, including the rebranding of Thomson Cruises to Marella Cruises and the wider transition from the Thomson brand to TUI across retail and distribution channels.
Since leaving TUI Group in September 2024, Helen serves in a variety of non‑executive director and trustee roles across the sector. She continues to support the work of the TUI Care Foundation as an independent trustee, contributing her extensive industry experience to the Foundation’s mission of creating positive social and environmental impact in destinations worldwide.
