Following the catastrophic impact of Category 5 Hurricane Melissa, which struck Jamaica with sustained winds of up to 115mph, communities across the island are facing severe devastation. The true scale of destruction across Jamaica is now clear. As the storm tore through the island, it caused widespread destruction and significant disruption to essential services. Western towns like Black River and Montego Bay have been hit hardest, with homes and schools destroyed, families displaced, and vital infrastructure crippled. The TUI Care Foundation has launched a fundraising appeal to support the communities affected by the hurricane. Together with its partners, it’s committed to providing long-term aid and social support to help communities rebuild and recover. 100% of every donation will go directly to projects in Jamaica, to support people affected by the hurricane. The TUI Care Foundation will match each donation – so for every pound or euro donated, the Foundation will contribute an additional pound or euro. Thank you for all your support.
