TUI Sea the Change Bali reaches a new milestone in marine conservation – 100,000 corals planted

The TUI Care Foundation planted the 100,000th coral in partnership with Livingseas Foundation, a unique dive centre focused on coral reef rehabilitation.

Through the TUI Sea the Change Bali initiative, coral fragments are being attached to steel framed ‘reef stars’ in the bay to help new coral to grow and restore the reef.

Planting 100,000 corals is not only an important milestone on the way to fighting coral degradation, but it also means new homes for millions of fish and a much healthier ecosystem for the ocean.
