Youthwise 2025/2026
The TUI Care Foundation continues its partnership with the OECD for a second term, supporting Youthwise – the OECD’s Youth Advisory Board, an initiative that brings youth perspectives to the heart of international policy discussions and deepens young people’s understanding of the OECD’s role in shaping global policy.
Through a mix of in-person, virtual, and hybrid consultations, events and workshops, Youthwise members explore the most pressing issues facing their generation—gaining a behind-the-scenes look at international policy-making and contributing to solutions.
Launched by the OECD in 2021 and supported by the TUI Care Foundation since 2023, Youthwise empowers young people to engage directly with policy experts, members of the TUI Care Foundation team and other external stakeholders, to amplify youth voices.
The first cohort supported by the TUI Care Foundation in 2023–2024 focused on key topics such as the school-to-work transition, climate resilience and the path to net zero, and youth policy, including the critical challenges of skills development and youth participation.
We now welcome the Youthwise 2025/2027 cohort. Over the next two years, 18 inspiring young people aged 18 to 30 will use this platform to explore an array of policy interests and provide perspectives and experiences as young individuals and contributors to OECD discussions.
Youthwise members will:
- Attend an opening workshop at OECD Headquarters in Paris, a consultation event in Berlin hosted by the TUI Care Foundation, and a hybrid event in Latin America;
- Share their generation’s perspectives, experiences and ideas with policymakers and experts;
- Gain first-hand insight into key policy areas affecting young people;
- Engage in closed-door consultations with OECD experts and external stakeholders;
- Speak at events and on panels, and join webinars representing Youthwise;
- Co-create written and multimedia content to voice Youthwise perspectives;
- Collaborate with other youth organisations, and connect with youth leaders from around the world;
- Build lasting networks and a deeper understanding of how international policy-making works.
