TUI Junior Academy Boa Vista
Despite the tourism boom on the island of Boa Vista there are many children exposed to numerous social issues that place children at elevated risk for future behavioral health problems. In many cases parents of these children work full time in the tourism sector.
TUI Care Foundation is providing a safe space for at least 70 children in Santa Maria.
- Creation of a safe environment where 70 primary school children living in/around Santa Maria feel welcome and are motivated to reach their full-potential.
- Opening up 2 extra classrooms at the kindergarten caring for 28 children.
