Der Zustrom \u2013 die Stadt z\u00e4hlt durchschnittlich 36 Touristinnen und Touristen pro Einwohner \u2013 hat zwar die Tourismusindustrie angekurbelt, aber auch die Lebenshaltungskosten erh\u00f6ht. Das bekommen auch die Kunsthandwerkerinnen und Kunsthandwerker deutlich zu sp\u00fcren. Um den damit einhergehenden Herausforderungen zu begegnen, hat die TUI Care Foundation in Zusammenarbeit mit der lokalen zivilgesellschaftlichen Organisation DE\u0160A die Initiative TUI Colourful Cultures Croatia ins Leben gerufen. Die Initiative st\u00e4rkt diese Menschen und verschafft ihnen wirtschaftliche Unabh\u00e4ngigkeit. Dar\u00fcber hinaus bereichert die Initiative das kulturelle Erlebnis f\u00fcr die Reisenden und f\u00f6rdert die weltweite Wertsch\u00e4tzung f\u00fcr das einzigartige Erbe Dubrovniks.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Daf\u00fcr organisiert das Projekt eine Reihe von kulturellen Veranstaltungen. Interaktive Pop-up-Veranstaltungen und Workshops er\u00f6ffnen Reisenden die M\u00f6glichkeit, in das reiche kulturelle Erbe von Dubrovnik einzutauchen. Kreative wiederum erhalten so eine Plattform, um F\u00e4higkeiten zu pr\u00e4sentieren und Einkommen zu steigern. DE\u0160A vertreibt die in den Workshops hergestellten Produkte exklusiv und tr\u00e4gt dazu bei, dass die lokale Gemeinschaft vom Nutzen des Tourismus in besonderer Weise profitiert. Ein H\u00f6hepunkt ist das alle zwei Jahre stattfindende Festival des Kunsthandwerks, das \u00fcber 12 000 Teilnehmende anlockt. Im Mittelpunkt stehen handwerkliche Vorf\u00fchrungen und interaktive Veranstaltungen.<\/p>\n<p>Das Projekt wurde in Dubrovnik von Helen Caron, Mitglied des Kuratoriums der TUI Care Foundation, und Ana Cvjetkovi\u0107, Gesch\u00e4ftsf\u00fchrerin von DE\u0160A, offiziell vorgestellt.<\/p>\n<p>Helen Caron: \u201eDas reiche kulturelle Erbe Kroatiens wird nicht nur von seinen Bewohnerinnen und Bewohnern gesch\u00e4tzt, sondern ist auch ein wichtiger Wirtschaftsfaktor. Indem wir die lokalen Kunsthandwerkerinnen und Kunsthandwerker durch die TUI-Initiative Colourful Cultures Croatia unterst\u00fctzen, stellen wir sicher, dass der Tourismus eine Kraft f\u00fcr das Gute ist. Eine Kraft, die Traditionen bewahrt und gleichzeitig nachhaltige Lebensgrundlagen schafft.&#8220;<\/p>\n<p>Ana Cvjetkovi\u0107, Executive Director von DE\u0160A: \u201eTUI Colourful Cultures Croatia ist eine Partnerschaft zwischen DE\u0160A und der TUI Care Foundation, die lokale Ressourcen und das kulturelle Erbe f\u00f6rdert. Zugleich st\u00e4rkt die Partnerschaft die lokale Entwicklung und bereichert die Erlebnisse der G\u00e4ste. In den n\u00e4chsten zwei Jahren werden wir kreative Workshops und Ausstellungen bei DE\u0160A in Lazareti veranstalten, einem Zentrum, in dem Kunsthandwerker und Touristen ihr Wissen austauschen k\u00f6nnen. Unsere Zusammenarbeit begann w\u00e4hrend der Corona-Krise, als wir Workshops f\u00fcr Kinder, Jugendliche und Frauen anboten. Wir freuen uns darauf, unsere Bem\u00fchungen um die Entwicklung der Gemeinschaft gemeinsam fortzusetzen.\u201c<\/p>\n<p>TUI Colourful Cultures Croatia will die sozio\u00f6konomische Situation Dubrovniks beeinflussen. Daf\u00fcr legt das Projekt einen Fokus auf die St\u00e4rkung heimischer Frauen und f\u00f6rdert gezielt den nachhaltigen Tourismus.<\/p>\n<p>Die Initiative ist Teil des globalen TUI Colourful Cultures Programms, das Projekte in Mexiko, Peru und der T\u00fcrkei umfasst. K\u00fcnstlerinnen und K\u00fcnstlern sowie Kunsthandwerkerinnen und Kunsthandwerkern erhalten dabei Zugang zu neuen Einkommensm\u00f6glichkeiten.
