Das Ziel: Resilienz, Wettbewerbsf\u00e4higkeit und Nachhaltigkeit des wichtigen Tourismussektors zu f\u00f6rdern. Dabei stehen kleine und mittlere Unternehmen (KMU) in Tourismuszentren wie Siem Reap im Fokus. Das Programm schlie\u00dft L\u00fccken in den Bereichen digitale Kompetenz und Nachhaltigkeit und stellt sicher, dass lokale Gemeinden direkt von der Reisebranche profitieren. Das Projekt wird in enger Zusammenarbeit mit der Deutschen Gesellschaft f\u00fcr Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) umgesetzt.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Der Tourismussektor Kambodschas ist ein wesentlicher Wirtschaftsmotor und erwirtschaftet 2026 voraussichtlich rund 16 Prozent des Bruttoinlandsprodukts. Gleichwohl haben viele lokale Tourismusunternehmen mit eingeschr\u00e4nktem Zugang zu modernen digitalen Tools und formellen Finanzierungsm\u00f6glichkeiten zu k\u00e4mpfen. Das Programm \u201eTUI Futureshapers Cambodia\u201c begegnet diesen Herausforderungen durch gezielte technische Unterst\u00fctzung und operative Schulungen. Es bietet mindestens 80 KMU aus der Tourismusbranche \u2013 darunter Beherbergungsbetriebe, Reiseveranstalter und Handwerksbetriebe \u2013 eine umfassende digitale und nachhaltigkeitsorientierte Analyse der jeweiligen Gesch\u00e4ftspl\u00e4ne.<\/p>\n<p>Zudem nehmen \u00fcber 160 Unternehmerinnen und Unternehmer an praxisorientierten Workshops teil. Dabei wird ihnen zum Beispiel Grundlagenwissen zu internationalen \u00d6ko-Zertifizierungsstandards vermittelt \u2013 wichtiges Know-how, um die eigene Umweltbilanz gezielt zu verbessern. Zudem erwerben die Teilnehmenden Kompetenzen im Einsatz k\u00fcnstlicher Intelligenz, um ihre Sichtbarkeit bei Online-Buchungen zu maximieren und Reisende weltweit zu erreichen.<\/p>\n<p>Ein wesentlicher Bestandteil des Programms ist die Vorbereitung der Unternehmen f\u00fcr Kapitalinvestitionen. So werden 15 vielversprechende Unternehmen gezielt in den Bereichen Finanzplanung und Unternehmensbewertung unterst\u00fctzt. Diese ma\u00dfgeschneiderte Vorbereitung wird dazu beitragen, dass die Unternehmen \u00a0externe Finanzmittel durch Impact-Investments oder Blended-Finance-Modelle zu erhalten k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n<p>Die Initiative spricht zudem die n\u00e4chste Generation kambodschanischer Changemaker an. Das Programm bietet Bootcamps zum nachhaltigen Tourismus und wird mindestens 100 junge Menschen daf\u00fcr gewinnen, sich konkret f\u00fcr umweltfreundliche Reiseoptionen einzusetzen. Die Aktivit\u00e4ten tragen auch dazu bei, Reiseerlebnisse \u00fcber den ber\u00fchmten Tempel Angkor Wat hinaus zu diversifizieren und wirtschaftliche Vorteile auf l\u00e4ndliche Gebiete auszuweiten.<\/p>\n<p>\u201eTUI Futureshapers Cambodia\u201c ist Teil des globalen \u201eTUI Futureshapers\u201c-Programms, das junge Menschen dabei unterst\u00fctzt, gesellschaftliche Herausforderungen in unternehmerische Chancen in Tourismusdestinationen zu verwandeln. Das Programm wird auch in Gro\u00dfbritannien, Spanien, Tunesien, \u00c4gypten, Griechenland, Albanien, Marokko, Kolumbien, Jamaika, Kap Verde, Namibia und Tansania umgesetzt.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>\u00dcber die TUI Care Foundation<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Die TUI Care Foundation initiiert und unterst\u00fctzt Projekte, die jungen Menschen auf der ganzen Welt neue Zukunftsperspektiven er\u00f6ffnen, Natur und Umwelt sch\u00fctzen und die nachhaltige Entwicklung von Urlaubsdestinationen f\u00f6rdern. Dabei setzt die Stiftung auf das Potenzial des Tourismussektors als Motor f\u00fcr gesellschaftliche Entwicklung, Bildung und Wohlstand. Sie baut auf starke Partnerschaften mit regionalen und internationalen Organisationen, um nachhaltigen Wandel zu bewirken. Die TUI Care Foundation ist eine unabh\u00e4ngige Stiftung, die von TUI initiiert wurde. Sie hat ihren Sitz in den Niederlanden.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>\u00dcber Target 8.9<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Target 8.9 ist eine von der TUI Care Foundation ins Leben gerufene globale Entwicklungsagentur.\u00a0Sie mobilisiert finanzielle und nichtfinanzielle Ressourcen, um Initiativen umzusetzen, die eine nachhaltige Wirkung in Tourismusdestinationen erzielen. Die Arbeit der Organisation orientiert sich am Unterziel 8.9 der Nachhaltigkeitsziele der Vereinten Nationen. Dieses zielt darauf ab, nachhaltiges und inklusives Wirtschaftswachstum zu f\u00f6rdern und gute Arbeitspl\u00e4tze zu schaffen.
